TPL Insurance Terms and Conditions
THESE ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DIGITT+ TPL INSURANCE(the “Terms & Conditions”). BY USING THE DIGITT+ TPL INSURANCE(“INSURANCE SERVICE”), THE CUSTOMER (“You”) AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.
STUDENT INSURANCE
1. About This Insurance
Student Insurance provides financial protection against accidental death, disability, and education-related expenses. It helps reduce the financial burden on students and their families by offering support for tuition fees, examination fees, and rental expenses in covered situations. Coverage is subject to policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.
2. General Exclusions
- The risk of Terrorism is excluded.
- Members whom profession are related to armed forces, police, rangers and security guards,
- only on duty shall be excluded from the coverage.
- Any pre-existing physical defect or infirmity.
- Mental illness, the effects of alcohol or drugs, suicide or attempted suicide or deliberate exposure to unnecessary danger
- Cover does not apply to circumstances arising out of or in any way connected with or caused by:
o Ballooning, bungee jumping, scuba diving, aviation other than travelling as a fare-paying passenger on a scheduled flight, gliding, paragliding, hang-gliding, micro lighting, motor rallying, parachuting, parascending, professional sports, racing of any kind, climbing, hunting on horseback, jet skiing, or any other sports of pastime involving exceptional risk of accident.
3. Terms and Conditions
- Maximum Eligibility Age: 65 years
- Unless otherwise declared and agreed by the Underwriters no benefit will be payable for any condition for which the Insured Person has sought advice, diagnosis, treatment or counseling or of which the Insured Person was or should reasonably have been aware at inception of this Insurance or for which the Insured Person has been treated at any time prior to inception.
- Notice must be given to the Underwriters as soon as reasonably practicable of any Accident which causes or may cause a claim within the meaning of this Insurance.
- All medical records, notes and correspondence referring to the subject of a claim or a related pre- existing condition shall be made available on request to any medical adviser appointed by or on behalf of the Underwriters and such medical adviser or advisers shall, for the purpose of reviewing the claim, be allowed so often as may be deemed necessary to make an examination of the Insured Person.
- Any fraud, concealment, or deliberate mis-statement by an Insured Person, if unknown to the Assured, either in the proposal on which this Insurance is based or in relation to any other matter affecting this Insurance or in connection with the making of any claim hereunder shall render this Insurance null and void in so far as it relates to the Insured Person in question but any such fraud, concealment, or deliberate mis-statement by or known to the Assured shall render the whole Insurance null and void and all claims hereunder shall be forfeited.
